Professional Journey

I believe technology should empower, not complicate. My journey into health data management began in 2009, evolving into full-scale infrastructure maintenance and critical deployments within the Zambian health sector by 2020. With a robust background as an IT Officer at the Institute for Health Measurement (IHM), I spent nearly three years at the forefront of Zambia’s digital health transformation. My work was defined by the successful deployment and management of the SmartCare Electronic Health Record (EHR) system across the Southern and Western Provinces, ensuring that critical health data remained accessible, secure, and reliable.

My expertise lies in orchestrating complex end-to-end system deployments, from the physical setup of Local Area Networks (LAN) and hardware installation to the sophisticated configuration of network protocols.

Beyond the technical hardware, I am a firm believer in human-centric IT. I have trained numerous healthcare professionals on new digital systems, identifying "system champions" within facilities to ensure long-term sustainability and user adoption.

My experience managing these large-scale legacy systems in the health sector is what now drives my passion for building modern, AI-integrated solutions that are both resilient and user-friendly.

Today, as a Freelance IT Consultant completing my Bachelor of ICTs with Education, I help businesses go further than just working technology — from redesigning outdated websites to building custom AI agents, my work is rooted in reliability, security, and keeping things simple for the people who use them.
